Russia to negotiate S-400 missile system supplies to India

Over the course of AeroIndia-2017 international aviation show, Russia will hold negotiations on supplies of S-400 missile systems to India, Rostec’s director for international cooperation and regional policy, Victor Kladov, told reporters on Tuesday.

“Consultations are underway, and they will be carried out here as well,” Kladov said, answering the question of when a contract for S-400 missile systems’ supplies to India will be signed.

We should remind you that AeroIndia-2017 international aviation show will be held from the 14th to 18th of February, at an airbase of Indian Airforce located in the town of Bangalore. Russian enterprises plan to display over 400 samples of military equipment.

An anti-aircraft weapon system, S-400 Triumf, was created in the 1990s in Russia. It has been in service with the Russian Armed Forces since 2007.
